TGKVF offers many and various ways for you to acquire a post-secondary education. Some scholarships are designated for graduating seniors of certain schools. Others are awarded for specific fields such as nursing or law. Numerous Foundation Scholarships are based on financial need and not academic achievement, but all applicants must complete a current application and submit it within the indicated time frame in order to be eligible for review.

For the 2009-2010 academic year, a total of $714,798 was awarded to 450 West Virginia students. The Foundation's scholarship program enriches many lives by providing students with the opportunity, which they might not otherwise have, to further their education. Each year, numerous Foundation contributors and dedicated volunteers make this possible.
